Huawei to invest in gaming gadgets, plans to cut phone production - News


Chinese tech-giant, Huawei is planning to cut down on smartphone production and step into the gaming business.

The company is said to begin production of video gaming gadgets; notebooks and game consoles of its own.

The game production brand is reported to be named 'MateStation' and could rival Sony PlayStation series and Microsoft Xbox Series.

The company is further planning to launch new models of gaming laptops in the second quarter (Q2) of 2021.
